Old bread? Make breadcrumbs.

Don't throw away your bread just cuz it's gotten a little too hard.  Do throw away if covered in mold ;) If you don't have ducks to feed like we did with our old bread when we were little, put it to good use and make bread crumbs.
Bread crumbs have many uses....to coat meat and chicken before baking, in salads, to add texture to roasted vegetables, in pasta for a bit of crunch, on top of mac and cheese......


Break bread into pieces. Spread onto a cookie sheet.  Toss in olive oil, salt and pepper and bake until brown and crunchy.

Seal them tightly and use them in tomorrow's dinner....
